Kids learn about different tastes and textures; the parents are able to enjoy their meal along with their child; and the child dictates how much they want to eat. This has shown to encourage children to be healthy, adventurous eaters later in life, who don’t overeat and are willing to try new things!
In my articles about baby led weaning, I’ll walk you through the advantages and the processes to help you and your baby have a fantastic experience. Baby Led Weaning (BLW) has been such a fun ride so far, and I can tell with my own children that healthy habits are already forming!
Make sure that you do your own research, including dialogues with your child’s doctor, before starting solids. I am not a medical professional.
